Julie Littlemore, a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, was previously a partner in the St. Albans office of Gyoury Self before joining Morrish & Partners as Regional Director in 2011. She was instrumental in completing the management buyout in July 2013 to form HLS Structural Engineers. She has worked on a wide variety of projects including structural design and detailing in all main construction materials across all main sectors of the construction industry. Julie also prepares full Structural Surveys and Reports and acts as an Expert Witness for structural matters.

Phil Horne was also a Director of Morrish & Partners having joined them in 1996, and was also instrumental in completing the management buyout to form HLS Structural Engineers in July 2013. Phil has a particular flair for the remodelling of existing structures including the temporary works design and detail. He also has over 15 years experience of working with historic buildings and uses his significant understanding of historic building construction to develop economic and buildable solutions to difficult problems.

An avid Saracens fan, Phil also helps with the running of his son’s year group rugby team at Old Albanian RFC.

Clive Miller is an Associate Director of HLS Structural Engineers, a position he also held at Morrish & Partners for the past 8 years. Clive works on a wide range of engineering projects from large new multi-storey structures to small residential refurbishments.

A fair weather Barnet FC supporter, Clive can be found most Sunday mornings running the line for his son’s football team.

Michael Collins has over 45 years experience in the construction industry and deals with the smaller residential projects that come into the office, such as extensions and loft conversions. He also has a considerable wealth of experience in resolving subsidence related projects.

Michael is also a keen thespian and regularly treads the boards with the Belmont Theatre Company.

Nic Christy is our engineering draughtsman and also undertakes civil engineering projects, focussing on underground drainage design and detailing.

Nic’s interests include football, Moto GP and films.

Kate Ash is our Financial Manager, and prior to moving across to HLS Structural Engineers spent 12 years working for Morrish & Partners. Kate is responsible for the accounts and administration within the office.

Kate’s main hobbies include cycling, scuba diving, country walks, scrapbooking and card making.
