Julie Littlemore, a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, was previously a partner in the St. Albans office of Gyoury Self before joining Morrish & Partners as Regional Director in 2011. She was instrumental in completing the management buyout in July 2013 to form HLS Structural Engineers Limited. She has worked on a wide variety of projects including structural design and detailing in all main construction materials across all sectors of the construction industry. Julie also prepares full Structural Surveys and Reports and acts as an Expert Witness on structural matters.
Julie is an active musician, playing in both brass bands and concert bands on the Isle of Wight and is a keen amateur boxer.

Phil Horne sadly passed away in May 2019 after a short illness. He was instrumental in completing the management buyout to form HLS Structural Engineers Limited, with fellow partner Julie Littlemore, in July 2013 having previously been a Director of Morrish & Partners since 1996.

Clive Miller is an Associate Director of HLS Structural Engineers. He manages and nurtures the graduates within the office. Clive works on a wide range of engineering projects from large new multi-storey structures to small residential refurbishments.
Clive is a fair weather Barnet FC supporter and film addict.

James Saggers is an Associate Member of the Institute of Structural Engineers with over 40 years’ experience. James has a wide range of skills from domestic properties to power stations. He works in all structural materials and prepares structural reports and specifications.
James was previously a keen Tenpin bowler and won several local competitions.

Gravina worked for almost 5 years in Mauritius as a site engineer on hotels and resort scheme construction and then as a civil engineer on large-scale infrastructure projects. She subsequently spent several years freelancing in Structural Design working on residential, commercial and school projects. She joined HLS in March 2022.
Outside work Gravina likes food, chess, architecture, watching anime/ sci-fi, enjoys long drives and nature walks.

Gerry Hughes is the senior draughtsman at HLS and has a wealth of drawing experience.
On the weekends, Gerry can often be found re-enacting 18th Century military skirmishes.

Svetlana Dragova joined the HLS team as part of the draughting department. She originates from Bulgaria and has qualifications in both architecture and engineering, both of which she enjoys with a passion.
Outside of the office Svetlana enjoys architecture, nature, going out with friends and has recently taken up swimming.

Carol McShane is the Financial Manager and Company Secretary. She is responsible for the accounts and administration within the office.
Carol enjoys spending time with her family, looking after my Grandson, socialising, theatre-going and, when the opportunity arises, holidaying on a cruise ship.
